1. Scope of Services

Legal Mija Consulting provides educational consulting services related to law school admissions, including but not limited to application strategy, personal statement and resume feedback, mentoring, and general guidance. Services are advisory and educational in nature only.

Legal Mija Consulting does not provide legal advice, does not act as an admissions office or admissions decision-maker, and does not have authority or influence over law school admissions outcomes.

2. No Guarantee of Admission

Legal Mija Consulting does not guarantee admission to any law school, program, scholarship, or opportunity. Admissions decisions are made solely by law schools and depend on numerous factors outside the control of any consulting service, including but not limited to academic performance, standardized test scores, institutional priorities, and applicant pools.

3. Not an Admissions Expert or Officer

While services are informed by professional experience as a practicing attorney and former paralegal, Legal Mija Consulting does not claim to be a law school admissions officer or admissions expert. Guidance is based on lived experience, legal training, writing expertise, and mentorship.

4. Client Responsibility

Clients are solely responsible for:

• The accuracy and completeness of all application materials submitted

• Meeting all law school deadlines

• Final decisions regarding application content and submission

Feedback provided is advisory. Clients retain full control and responsibility over their applications.

5. Payments & Fees

All services must be paid in full prior to delivery unless otherwise stated. Prices are listed clearly at the time of purchase. By purchasing a service, you agree to the listed fee and scope of work.

Legal Mija Consulting’s pricing reflects the current scope of services offered and the professional background of the consultant at the time of purchase. As the practice evolves, including through additional formal training, certifications, or professional development related to law school admissions consulting, service offerings and pricing may be updated accordingly.

Any changes to pricing will apply prospectively only and will not affect services already purchased.

6. Refund Policy

Due to the personalized and time-intensive nature of consulting and editing services, all sales are final. No refunds will be issued once work has begun or services have been delivered.

If Legal Mija Consulting is unable to provide a service after payment is received, a refund or credit may be issued at sole discretion.

7. Turnaround Times

Estimated turnaround times are explicitly stated in writing. Rush services are provided as well.

8. Communication

Primary communication will occur via email. Clients are responsible for checking their communications and responding promptly when input is required.

9. Intellectual Property

All written feedback, edits, templates, and materials provided by Legal Mija Consulting are for the client’s personal use only and may not be reproduced, distributed, or resold without written permission.

10. Confidentiality

Client information and materials are treated as confidential and will not be shared without consent, except as required by law. Testimonials or excerpts will only be used with explicit permission.

11. Limitation of Liability

Legal Mija Consulting shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential outcomes related to the use of services, including admissions decisions or academic results.
